WHY DO WE HAVE FEELINGS FOR OTHERS?

WHY DO WE HAVE FEELINGS FOR OTHERS?

I know this is not a great topic to write about... but have you ever thought about why you have some unique feelings for others? Since each individual is born and dies in their own time, what's the point in having such unique feelings for others? Let's delve into some of the reasons and effects of such feelings...

How is your life going?

Well, this has a lot to say about why you have such feelings. Are you an introvert? Then there is a high chance of such glimpses. But it's common. If you have a small circle of close friends and loved ones, then you tend to attract others to broaden your circle. Even if a person smiles at you, you will have feelings for him or her.

What are these feelings?

Strong feelings for a person do not necessarily have to be romantic. Strong feelings can encompass any number of emotions, including companionship, empathy, and conviviality. You would avoid eye contact with the person for whom you have feelings. To be fancier, I could say seeing their name causes your heart to skip a beat, causes butterflies in your stomach, and so on. Moreover, you want to talk about them continuously.

Why such feelings?

Scientifically, when you're around the person you love, it increases dopamine and norepinephrine leading to feelings of pleasure, giddiness, nervousness, and excitement. People have such feelings because they feel a connection or some similarity. While some might say they felt somewhat comfortable with a specific person.

How to deal with such feelings?

To be honest, I have no clue how to deal with these feelings. But always remember:

- Acknowledge the truth of the situation.

- Give yourself space and spend time on yourself.

- Accept what the feeling meant to you and that it is natural to be hurt.

- Allow yourself to feel upset, cry and let it all out.

Let it be known...

Humans are unique beings with complex emotions. It's difficult to simply turn off your emotions, no matter how much you want to. But you may always carry those with you in some form. Feelings don't always go away just because we want them to. It's still possible to love someone who doesn't love you and who has hurt you, but you can manage those feelings in a healthy, positive way so they don't continue to cause you pain.

To wind things up, I would love to admit that this is not an interesting topic, but I hope this would enlighten the minds of those who've gone through it. I am not going to say much about this topic since it is quite sensitive. Remember, What's yours will find you... no matter how impossible, unimaginable, or unattainable, if it's meant to be, if it's truly destined as yours-it'll find its way to you. Well, this is applicable not only for this case but for everything in this world, Everything!!!

Will see you again someday in the clouds...
