WHY IS FREEDOM NECESSARY?

 WHY IS FREEDOM NECESSARY?

Today, most of us crave freedom. Some of them are feminists, while others are masculinists. Likely, the majority of these prosecutors don't even know what its basic ideology is. The majority of people use it as a reason to consider some groups as superior. But that's inequality, right? Is freedom essential for moving life? Let's think about it.

What are Feminism and Masculinism?

The real ideology behind these two terms should be understood first. Feminism. It's a term derived from modern times where women were considered oppressed and had no right even to vote. With this motive, they wished to empower women so that they would have equal rights with men.

Even after women were granted equal rights, the term was misunderstood and overemphasized. This led to the superiority of women, and the term masculinism was coined to empower 'oppressed men' for equal rights.

As you can see, these two terms were used to promote equality and not dominance. But what about today? Do we intend to do so?

Is it necessary to use these terms nowadays?

Living in a democratic world may lead you to this question. My opinion is that it may depend on our personal circumstances. If we are living in a society where women face oppression, then we have to be feminists. When men experience oppression, we have to be masculinists. In short, it would depend on the situation in which you are living. Both men and women have their own strengths and abilities, so our primary aim should be equality.

Are we free?

After searching for the meaning of freedom, I came to the conclusion that freedom is the power of self-determination attached to the will; the ability to be independent of fate and necessity. I don't know what you understood by reading its definition. What I understood was that freedom is not something that allows us to fly like a bird, it's a space to be ourselves. It is possible to be free even if you are imprisoned if you have a space to be yourself. The right to do whatever you want makes you free- and in our current world, this definition has led to many destructions. It would be okay if your likes did not harm you or anyone in this world. You can do whatever you need to be YOU, not the person that everyone else wants you to be. Your life has some purposes. Be you.

So, what is the need for freedom?

Many among us are exploiting FREEDOM for doing obnoxious things. By doing so, they are not only destroying themselves but also compromising the freedom of others. The real purpose of your life should be understood first. Freedom is not the key to doing everything. If you're not using it wisely, it's venom. "A drop of wisdom is worth more than a sea of gold".".

IN CLOSING, I would love to say that freedom can be used to maintain equality, not dominance. Freedom is one word with a vast meaning. Everyone has some or the other form of freedom and yet is restricted by something else. Well! Freedom is when you're fearless of getting judged. Moreover, it's a state of mind. Freedom is, in short, being YOU!

  1. I like the way democracy and freedom is described, nowadays people often misuse the terms freedom and democracy.

We have also seen the ugliest form of feminism, from zomato delivery boy incident to the Lucknow taxi driver case, and regarding masculinism, by reading this blog i came to know about this very useless term masculinism, i still don't know y it exists, just because there is this feminism so to fulfill the opposite party?

Neither a feminist nor a masculinist ( i know there is no such terms, but still...) , disagree the ideology of both the party,
just follows what the religion says ;-)
