 IS THIS ALL JUST AN ILLUSION?


You might think I'm insane, but when you look deeper into what you're experiencing, you can see it just fades away after a while. It exists only as an illusion in your mind. If everything leaves us and remains an illusion in our minds, why can't we think that the world is just an illusion? Now, ready to delve deeper? Come along!!


What is an illusion?

An illusion is a false sense-impression of something. This definition is a helpful starting point since I'll argue that the world exists, but that the sense impressions we have of it are an illusion. Basically, an illusion is created through having a temporary fault with the sense organs resulting in faulty sense data. 


Why do I think so?

Actually, I'm the kind of person who always tries to get deeper into the Qur'an- the holy book. It says 'And the life of this world is nothing but Play and Amusement [6:32].' Okay so many of us, including me, often wonder why we don't have this or why we can't have what they have. We may even wonder why we cannot have such a person forever. What I was gonna tell you is that we keep on wishing and regretting. And most often, we end up being ungrateful to our creator because we are not happy with what we have in this life. But there are a few things we have and we blame our fates for that. 

So the thing is, what's the point of wasting our time blaming our fates for the temporary life of this world? And why don't we think about the life of the next world, which is everlasting? The life of this world is but the comfort of illusion. Most of us crave these pleasures and get crazy for them. The moment we realize we are not immortal, we see the meaning of life as an illusion. 


Is the world an illusion?

I personally believe that the world we live in right now is an illusion and only temporary. The world is nothing but an illusion, an illusion that we must take seriously because it is as real as it gets. We must also take seriously those aspects of reality that we are capable of apprehending. Sometimes we may feel like we have only been here for a single day. Is this life like a dream? Hehe!!


What proof do I have?

Of course, I have the Holy Book- The Qur'an. Now I would love to quote some of the verses of the Qur'an which repeatedly say that the life of this world is nothing but an illusion:

1. The life of this world is merely an illusionary enjoyment [3:185].

2. The life of this world is nothing but delusion [57:20].

3. This worldly life was nothing more than amusement and diversion. And indeed, the home of the hereafter- that is the [eternal] life, if only they knew [29:64].

...and on it moves...


In light of these facts, we are living in an illusionary world. It doesn't mean that the world we see is an illusion, just as the air around us becomes an illusion. When we first realized that it is made of atoms and molecules!! The world is a kind of game field that offers many levels, and it is our willpower that will determine our success... "The reality is merely an illusion, albeit a persistent one" because our beliefs, thoughts, faith, emotions, and perceptions are often skewed. So how do you feel when you realize that you are living in an illusion?

    This time whatever you wrote, rather than just being thoughts, those are also facts, facts which nobody could deny, facts based on Qur'an, but what i would like to add is, this life has it's own meaning, life after death depends on the life you living now, everybody should have an aim in their life, it's true that anyone could die at anytime and death will not ask for it, for living a peaceful life you need to have an income for which you aim to be something in life, and after your death , you will die but your deeds won't, there is an explanation of that too in Islam 🤠, overall this was your most different blog which is on facts and on point, and a really nice topic of which everybody should be enlightened 🙌🙌

WHY ME?

  WHY ME? Heyyya'all!! I apologize for the long absence- I was going through some of the greatest challenges of my life :)   During these days, I felt as if my world was about to end but due to the prohibition of suicide, 🙂 only one line came on loop in my heart- WHY ME??? WHAT IN TARNATION IS GOING ON?

WHAT IN TARNATION  IS GOING ON? Let me start this blog by saying that it is an open note for me and those who feel the same way as I do right now.
